Greblick - 1 Goal & 1 Assist

Arlington JVA team had a tough time against Ketchum's JV team, going into the second half of the game 0-2. With 30 minutes left in the second half Jeff Greblick helped turn the results around by laying up a nice pass in front of the Ketchum goal for Tyler Herman to score on. Jeff then got Arlingtons second goal on a Penalty Kick to tie up the score.Two additional Arlington team mates scored on set plays, for an end result of 4-2.

Rhinebeck 5, Coleman 0 - Reed Fox scored two first-half goals and another after intermission in the Hawks' home victory, extending their winning streak to seven.
Anthony Caputo and David Williams also chipped in goals. Tyler Petagine had two assists.

Kenny Wilson 1 Goal 1 Assist.

In a classic competitive comeback game Kenny Wilson helped Danbury fight back to tie Trumbull 2-2.  Thanks to his outside the 18, 25 yard rocket, and an assist on the tying goal Danbury left the game taking the point in a 2-2 tie.

John Condorelli - 2 Goals

Our JV Spartans played a tough match against a worthy Red Hook team today. Red Hook started the scoring early in the first half. The Spartans replied with their own goals. At the end of regulation time the score was 3-3. The officials added two overtime periods in an attempt to find a winner. The Spartans completely dominated during both overtimes but were unable to convert another goal. Final score: Spartans 3, Red Hook 3.

Red Hook 5, New Paltz 3

At New Paltz, Red Hook rallied from a 2-1 deficit with three consecutive goals in a one-minute span after goalie Trevor Meyer was removed after receiving a yellow card.

Josh Stary scored, then set up Kyle Murphy and Macklin (Maclyn) Willigan tallied 30 seconds later.

Murphy completed a hat trick with a decisive penalty kick with 2:20 remaining.

Rhinebeck 5, Millbrook 0 - Scoring four goals after the half, the Hawks rolled on the road. Andrew McGettrick tallied the opening goal 30 minutes into the first half. David Williams and Reed Fox each scored in the first 15 minutes of the second half, followed by a pair by Eamon Graziano.

Rhinebeck (5-1) outshot Millbrook (0-6), 22-6, with goalie Ben Hoynes turning away all three shots he faced.

 Rhinebeck 4, Pine Plains 0 - Junior Reed Fox scored two goals and added an assist as the Hawks advanced to the finals of their home Andy Bennett Tournament with a shutout win over the Bombers.

Rhinebeck will face Red Hook in the final today at 9:30 a.m. Red Hook defeated Saugerties, 2-0. Pine Plains and Saugerties will play the consolation game, also at 9:30 a.m.
Freshman David Williams scored his first varsity goal for Rhinebeck. Max Fesser added a goal and an assist for the Hawks (1-1 overall).
In goal, Ben Hoynes made two saves for Rhinebeck. His counterpart, Bombers keeper Grayson Wheeler made seven saves.
"We finished a bunch of balls and played some good defense," Rhinebeck coach Justin Wiesenthal said.

The JV Spartans started quickly today against Webutuck with 4 goals in the first half of play. The players combined well and advanced the ball in great numbers. Goal keeper Andrew Hashim did a fine job of keeping the Spartan's goal clean. During the second half, the Spartans found the back of Webutuck's goal 3 more times through great TEAM play. Final score: Spackenkill 7, Webutuck 0. Spackenkill's scoring was shared by players all across the field. Gabe Karp had 3 goals and the following players score 1 goal each: John Condorelli, James Hoey, Tyler Kowalski, and Raneem Kurzum. Our next match is on Monday, 9/21/09, away against Onteora.

John Condorelli - Spackenkill HS vs Poughkeepsie - Tuesday, September 15, 2009

Condorelli - 1 Goal & 1 Assist

The JV Spartans had their hands full with an extremely large and physically imposing opponent from Poughkeepsie. Very strong technical possession play kept the Spartans in control. Captain, Justin Hart dominated the midfield and combined with his teamates to keep the poughkeepsie defenders on their heels. Striker John Condorelli played very well and scored first for the spartans with quick foot skills that exposed the back of the net. The second goal also came from a beautiful pass provided by Condorelli to striker Alex Lanza for a quick one touch shot. Tyler Kowalski supplied a great ball from the left wing to Lanza for the third Spartan goal. The final goal was provided by Brian Jones on a penalty kick that was placed just inside the post. All of the Spartans really came together and showed the value of good technical play. Final score Spackenkill 4, Poughkeepsie 1. Please come out to support your Spartans for a home game against a tough Webutuck opponent tomorrow. Kick off is at 4:15pm at Todd Middle School.
