On behalf of Middlepath FC, THANK YOU for attending the first week of Session One of Middlepath FC's 2011-12 Youth Development Academy.
The wonderful response to Session One of the Youth Development Academy admittedly overwhelmed us. Please know that our upcoming training sessions will be well staffed with college soccer coaches and college soccer players. I promise that your players will be learning directly from highly skilled and experienced teachers.
My name is Chris Lyn, and I am the new President of Middlepath FC, and it is a true pleasure to introduce myself, our coaches and the club to our community. I am an Assistant Coach on the Marist College Women's Soccer Team. Our coaches include Kate Lyn, the Head Coach of the Marist College Women's Soccer Team, Jay Price, a long time Middlepath FC coach and current assistant for the BU18's, and Chuck Wilder, the Middlepath FC Director of Coaching and an Assistant Coach for the Vassar College Men's Soccer Team. The Middlepath FC Youth Development Academy allows us to share with our young players and the greater community our love, knowledge and appreciation for soccer, and offer our young players the opportunity to improve their soccer skills, learn the benefits of team play, and enjoy the game with highly accomplished college soccer coaches and players.
The lessons your children learn at the Middlepath FC Youth Development Academy will immediately transition to the soccer field and last a lifetime.
Please look forward to the other new community initiatives and programs to be announced by Middlepath FC in the near future.
Our next training session for the Youth Development Academy is this Monday, October 2nd at Stringham Park; in this training session we will build on the dribbling lessons of last week to focus on the development of your player's passing skills.
Please arrive by 4:45 PM to allow time for a player attendance check-in; the check-in and registration process will end promptly at 5:05 PM to allow us to focus on training your players; so, please don't be late . . . registration and check-in close promptly at 5:05 PM!
Also, please remember to bring a soccer ball, shin guards and water - And Don't Forget Your Game!
